Being dragged behind you
Invisible to the world
Lost in but an image
An unknown little girl

You say my tears are crystal
You say my body’s sewn
You say my heart is fabric
A doll to call your own

If I were to split a seem
I would come apart
I would fall to pieces
Breaking your cold heart

So please don’t go provoking
I could rip to shreds
And if that should happen
I’d be merely threads

My silent lips are locked
Sewn closed to shut me in
My screams just go unheard
As the light grows dim

Hair as soft as silk
Covering my face
You push it aside as you look
Deep into your disgrace

Never growing older
Staying quite the same
Stared at by your judging eyes
I am the one to blame

Still loving you forever
With my fabric heart
With everyday I go unseen
It slowly rips apart

Seem by seem it crumbles
Stitch by stitch it breaks
String by string its falling
Thread by thread it aches

But it will go on loving
